Time and tide wait for no man, even if, like little Stewart Howieson, you have a castle to complete.
Stewart, with bucket in hand, was busy in the sand on Ayr Beach. And, if I'm not very much mistaken, that's a model of one of the great Clyde-built liners at his feet. It's not the QEII though, as she had only one funnel, and not two.
Good to see he is dressed for the job, in trunks and a good, warm woolly jumper - that's proper Scottish summer beachwear.
